About Nita Patel DDS

Dr. Nita Patel was born in Gujarat, India. She pursued a B.D.S. from Ahmedabad Dental College in India.  She later moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1988, where she furthered her dental education at Northwestern Dental School. She has been practicing dentistry in Illinois since 1992. 

Dr. Patel speaks fluently in English, Gujarati, and Hindi. Dr. Patel strives to serve a diverse community by promoting oral health, and consequently, overall health.  

In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys to spend time with her family, read, watch movies, and travel. She has two sons; one is currently pursuing a medical education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, while her youngest son is an undergrad on a pre-dental track at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
